چکیده

The last two decades, in particular, have witnessed a large volume of research revolving around structure-property correlation Carbon based nanocomposites, synthesized by several methods. In the simplest terms, electronic properties these nanomaterials, which form present context discussion, vary mainly as function three parameters, out 2 are process parameters (viz. kind reinforcement and method synthesis) one is structure-dependent parameter highly influenced aforementioned plays vital role determining ionic transport phenomenon materials. To be more specific structure dependent parameter, interaction between electrons equilibrium 0D (point) defects, along with different types interfaces, crucial understanding properties, apart from physical chemical These materials find applications number sectors, such nanoelectronics, supercapacitors, absorbent, photocatalytic, photovoltaic, solar cells, sensors, energy storage due to their exceptional electronic, mechanical properties. chapter will intend focus primarily on providing brief overview state-of-the-art detailed discussions some recent developments conventional Carbon-based nanocomposites (synthesized techniques) property finally, address significant challenges this field.

Gold-carbon nanotube nanocomposites: synthesis and applications

Nanocomposites are combinations of nanomaterials with other molecules or nanoscaled materials, such as nanoparticles or nanotubes. In general, these novel nanocomposites have different physical and chemical properties from the constituent particles or wires, and will thus allow new kinds of applications. Among these nanocomposites, gold-carbon nanotube (AuCNT) composites are of particular inter...

Clay-Epoxy Nanocomposites: Processing and Properties

The work described in this paper is focused on evaluating the effect of the processing method and nanoclay (montmorillonite) content on the tensile, compressive, and impact properties of clay-epoxy nanocomposites. Nanocomposites are synthesized by two methods: mechanical mixing and shear mixing. Both these methods are capable of producing bulk quantities of clay-epoxy nanocomposites. X-ray diff...
